Registration for UGC NET December 2022 begins, exam from February 21

The National Eligibility Test (NET) for eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor will be conducted between February 21 and March 10, 2023. Candidates can apply for UGC NET through ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for UGC NET December 2022. The application process started from 29 December. UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) The eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and for Assistant Professor will be conducted between February 21 to March 10, 2023. Candidates can apply for UGC NET through the official website nta.ac.in, or ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Candidates should note that the last date to fill the online application for UGC NET is January 17 at 5 PM. The correction window for the application will be opened from January 19 to 20. UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar informed about the UGC NET December 2022 schedule on his Twitter handle.

“Announcement on UGC-NET December 2022: NTA has been entrusted by the UGC to conduct the UGC-NET to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘JRF and Assistant Professor’ posts in Indian Universities and Colleges. UGC NET 2023: How to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET 2023, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the link “Apply for UGC NET 2023”.

Step 3: Register yourself on the portal.

Step 4: Log in using the credentials and fill the application form.

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the form and take a printout for future reference

The information about the venue of the examination will be available by the first week of February 2023 and the admit cards will be issued in the second week of February 2023. The exam will be held in two shifts, the first from 9 am to 12 noon and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm. The examination will be divided into two papers each consisting of multiple choice questions and may be attempted either in English or Hindi.
