Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani gets death threat. Details here

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani received a death threat in an email on October 27, warning to shoot him if he failed to pay 20 crore, said police as quoted by the news agency ANI.

A case registered under sections 387 and 506 (2) IPC in Gamdevi Police Station of Mumbai, police added.

This is not the first time Mukesh Ambani has his family have received death threats.

Last year, an unidentified caller issued a threat against Mukesh Ambani and his family. He called up Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and threatened to blow up the hospital in south Mumbai, said police.

In August 2022, a jeweler was arrested after he allegedly called up the hospital and threatened to kill industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family members.

Among the recent one was in February 2021 when a sports utility vehicle (SUV) laden with explosives was found near Mukesh Ambani’s south Mumbai residence ‘Antilia’.
