Daisy Rockwell, who goes by the name of @shreedaisy on Twitter, shared the tweet. Tagging his friend in the post, he wrote, “Guys, @microMAF and I just saw a wonderful description of Jalebi.” In the click, we could see the menu of a restaurant in a South Asian city that seemed to be owned by people from there Pakistan, The dessert section had a list of various sweets like gulab jamun, phirni, halwa and kulfi. Below each of these was a one-line description. However, it was the description of the jalebi that stole the show.
“Mysterious crispy pretzel shaped fried waffles soaked in rose water syrup,” read the description text below the dish ‘Jalebi Garam’.
The hilarious way of explaining Jalebi really made internet users laugh. The tweet got over 749 likes and 83.3k views. Many Indian foodies dropped their views in the comments section. “What a homegrown description of pretzels and waffles,” one thought. “The details in general are much better than the typical stuff on the menu. I want to eat there,” said another. Several others shared similar funny details of dishes they found at various restaurants.
