Members of the Telugu Desam Party on Monday called on NTR District Collector S. Memorandum submitted to Delhi Rao

The Divyang Cell of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has protested against the suspension of social security pension by the state government on the pretext of their family members being government outsourcing employees.

Later on Monday, he addressed the NTR District Collector S. Submitted a memorandum to Delhi Rao.

State president of TDP’s handicapped cell P. Sunil Kumar, NTR district president P. Nageswara Rao and others said that it is not right on the part of the state government to stop the pension of the disabled, if any member of their family is outsourced to the government employee.

“YSRCP government is not giving any priority to the disabled. The previous government used to pay ₹3,000 per month to the disabled, even if their families had outsourced workers. But the state government has stopped the pension from August. The pension is used for the disabled to meet the cost of medicines. How can old and disabled people meet such expenses on the pretext that their families had outsourced workers? The government was requested to restore the pension immediately.
