Revolt Motors has introduced its flagship electric motorcycle, the Revolt RV 400 in an all new color scheme. While Revolt Motors is yet to announce the new color name, the RV 400 will now be available in three colours, Rebel Red, Cosmic Black and the new color shade, which looks like Silver White color shade with Black accents. . Mechanically, no changes have been made to the Revolt RV 400. Rahul Sharma, Founder and CEO, Revolt Motors, announced the new color on social media without naming it, and said that bookings for the Revolt RV 400 will resume soon.

Just last month, Revolt introduced a new swipe to start feature for the RV 400, which will enable keyless start via the MyRevolt mobile application. With this new feature, users can switch the AI-enabled Revolt electric motorcycle on or off via their smartphone. To switch on the bike with the Swipe to Start feature, the user just needs to open the app, and slide the power button from left to right. This feature gives the user the freedom to use the bike without a key and can also perform all functions – lock, unlock and locate his bike through the application.

The RV400 comes with a 3KW (Mid Drive) motor, which is powered by a 72V, 3.24KWh lithium-ion battery that can churn out a top speed of 85kmph. The bike can be operated through the MyRevolt app which offers connectivity features like bike locator/geo-fencing, customized sounds that can be changed with just one tap on the screen, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, ride-on Historical data and kilometers done, and also the option to locate the nearest Revolt switch station to swap electric bike batteries and be on-the-move in less than 60 seconds.

The revised incentives announced under the FAME II (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) scheme have resulted in a reduction in the price of Revolt RV 400 by Rs 28,000. The RV400 electric motorcycle is now priced at Rs 90,799 and comes with a choice of three riding modes – Eco, City and Sport. The Revolt RV400 claims a range of 156 km (ARAI-certified) on a single charge in Eco mode. The RV 400 is currently unavailable and the company intends to open bookings once again.
