India wicketkeeper and batsman Rishabh Pant was involved in a serious car accident today (December 30) after he met with a horrific road accident in Haridwar. According to initial reports, Pant was returning from his home in Roorkee to Delhi in his car. As can be seen in the CCTV footage, his car hit a divider and caught fire. Luckily, the cricketer managed to escape the car with no injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
He was later shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. Pant is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at Max Hospital in Dehradun and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered officials to ensure that the cricketer gets all necessary help to get better.
