Rishabh Shetty starts writing for ‘Kantara’ prequel

Team Kantara has confirmed that the writing of the film’s prequel has formally begun today on the occasion of Ugadi. The Twitter handle of the film’s production house Humble Films tweeted that they “can’t wait to bring to you another captivating story that showcases our connection with nature.”

This comes just days after Rishabh confirmed that the second film will be a prequel at the film’s screening on March 17 at the Pathé Balexart Theater in Geneva. An audience of about 220 people including representatives of the United Nations, heads of international organizations from Germany, Brazil, UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development), ITU (International Telecommunication Union) WHO (World Health Organisation), Sri Lanka, Myanmar and the Indian Diaspora attended the screening.

He said, “We are very happy and thankful to the viewers who have shown immense love and support Kantara And taking the journey forward, with the blessings of almighty god the film has successfully completed 100 days and I would like to take this opportunity to announce its prequel Kantara, What you saw is actually part 2, part 1 will come next year. The idea just popped into my head when I was shooting for it Kantara because history Kantara It has more depth, and currently, we are in the midst of digging into more details as far as the writing part is concerned. As the research is still in progress, it is too early to reveal details about the film.

Apart from directing, Rishabh also starred in the lead actor. Kantara With Saptami Gowda. Made on a budget of Rs 16 crore, the film grossed Rs 400 crore globally.
