Robot Made Pizza in 5 Minutes! Former SpaceX employees launch new food truck

Why are fast food joints selling burgers and fries always packed? People are loving the idea of getting affordable, delicious food in a matter of minutes. Imagine if you could make your favorite pizza fresh from scratch in less than 5 minutes? Well now you can. A robot developed by former SpaceX employees makes and tops pizza every 45 seconds. The automatic, touchless pizza maker fits into a food truck that will deliver pizza to customers at home and make their pizza on the way.

Three former SpaceX engineers, Benson Tsai, Brian Langone and James Wahawison, recently launched Stellar Pizza – an eatery selling automated, mobile pizza. Stellar Pizza CEO Tsai previously designed advanced battery systems for rockets and satellites at Elon Musk’s company. He joined hands with more than 23 former SpaceX employees to build the robot, as a Business Insider report.

At Stellar Pizza, you can get pepperoni or a Supreme Pizza, or you can even ask for your own fresh toppings. The machine can make 10 different toppings.

How the robot works is simply amazing. The dough is made in seconds and it is pressed to make a pizza base. The base goes inside the next machine line where it is smeared with sauce and cheese, and the toppings fall on it like a waterfall. Then the robotic arm automatically places it inside a hot oven to bake.

A video showing the entire operation of a pizza-making robot has been uploaded to the YouTube channel Gemini Kitchen. Check it out here:

Stellar Pizza is expected to begin serving pizza in Los Angeles next year. We are wishing that it will soon come to India as well.
