Rohtak cylinder blast: 7 injured in cylinder explosion in Rohtak’s Ekta Colony. Chandigarh News – Times of India

Rohtak: Seven people including two children were burnt in the accident cylinder explosion in Rohtak Ekta Colony early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 6.45 am. Apart from being engulfed in fire, the victim’s house was turned into rubble, including the roof of the two-storey house. Fire tenders reached the spot, doused the fire and pulled out two children from inside the burning house.
All the seven people were taken to the trauma center of PGIMS, Rohtak for treatment.

The collision was so strong that the wall of the neighbor’s house also collapsed and two people were buried under the wall.
The debris of the house also damaged the windows and doors of the opposite house and injured one person.

Cylinder burst in Rohtak's Ekta Colony

Neighbor Sushil Kumar, who runs tuition at the house, said the blast was so severe that it damaged at least three houses besides turning the two-storey building of the victim’s house into rubble. He said that the walls, doors and window panes of his house were also broken.
Meanwhile, Vishal Kumar, in whose house the cylinder exploded, told the media that as soon as he turned on the gas for cooking, an explosion occurred and a fire engulfed the house and he fainted.
