Romelu Lukaku is back again in Italy in the 2021-22 season after a disappointing run at Chelsea. Lukaku returned to Chelsea last summer after The Blues shelled out £98million for the 29-year-old striker. However, the huge fanfare and a friendly atmosphere did not last long as Lukaku found it difficult to cope with coach Thomas Tuchel’s system. Eventually, he decided to return to Inter Milan on a season-long loan move before the next season. Now, a latest Instagram post shared by Lukaku has done enough to anger Chelsea fans.
On Instagram, Lukaku posted a picture of himself on his phone and captioned it, “Maybe I’ll show you I’m solid first and if the energy isn’t right. I’ll show you how easy it is to cut ties, no more effort Must do. Gone.”
The post’s caption may be based on the song ‘Scorpio’ from Moneybag Yo, but some Chelsea fans believe that Lukaku took a sly take on the London club. The fans didn’t waste much time taunting the forward.
“Romelu who cares about Lukaku. Lukaku treats Chelsea and Chelsea fans with contempt. I really won’t give a damn if Lukaku gets injured,” wrote one user.

While another follower of the game thought Lukaku was just too immature.

Whereas another football fan said that Lukaku is not even a Chelsea legend and hence his remarks don’t make much sense. “Romelu Lukaku is not a legend at Chelsea, Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan. What impact will he have on football when he retires. What a prankster,” read the comment.

In his second stint at Chelsea, Lukaku played 44 matches and scored 15 goals. In the recently concluded Premier League, he found the back of the net eight times in 26 matches.
