Royal Enfield Hunter 350 launched at Rs 1.5 lakh: Price, features, variants, specifications – Times of India

Royal Enfield has finally launched its much awaited RE Hunter 350 at a starting price of Rs 1,49,900 (ex-showroom, pan-India) in the market. The top-spec variant is priced at Rs 1,68,990 (ex-showroom, pan-India).

Hunter 350: Design

Talking about the design of the motorcycle, the bike gets a dual-tone paint job with a matte finish like the Scrum 411. While the fuel tank gets a dual-tone paint job, the rest of the motorcycle seems to be finished in completely black colour. including wheels. Like most classic-styled Royal Enfield motorcycles, the Hunter 350 is completely devoid of chrome.
It featured an instrument similar to the Scrum 411 with a round shape for the headlight, round rear-view mirrors, a 13-litre tear-drop shaped fuel tank, and a tripper navigation system in the form of an optional extra, 800 mm tall single-piece seat. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 gets halogen headlights and a semi-digital instrument cluster similar to other Royal Enfields. It gets a smaller tripper navigation pod on the right side along with an offset instrument cluster, which will only be offered as an optional extra. The instrumental cluster includes information such as gear position indicator and service reminder. It also gets an integrated USB charging socket under the switchgear.
Hunter 350: Engine and Transmission
As mentioned earlier, the Hunter 350 will be powered by the same engine as the Meteor 350, the new Classic 350, and the upcoming new generation Bullet 350. It will be a 349cc SOHC two-valve air-oil-cooled J. -series engine that produces 20.2 hp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, mated to a five-speed gearbox. The top speed is pegged at 114kmph while the claimed fuel economy is 36.2kmpl.
Hunter 350: Suspension and Brakes
Suspension duties are covered by 41 mm forks with 130 mm of travel and twin shock absorbers at the rear with six-step preload adjustability and 102 mm of travel.
The bike gets 17-inch wheels with 110/70 section tires at the front and 140/70 at the rear. It features a 300 mm disc with a twin-piston caliper and 270 mm at the rear, aided by a dual-channel ABS.
