Royal Enfield Scrum 411 launched at Rs 2.03 lakh: Specs, Features, Colors – Times of India

Royal Enfield today launched our new running 411 at a starting price of Rs 2.03 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The Scrum 411 is based on the Himalayan and uses the same engine and chassis as the Adventure Tourer, however, offering a more road-biased flair. The new Himalayan-based scrambler will rival the likes of newly launched Yezdi Scrambler and adventure, and also Adv. Brother.
The Scrum 411 is powered by the same 411cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 24 HP at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm of torque at 4,000-4,500 rpm and is mated to a five-speed transmission. However, the engine has been tweaked to better suit the riding characteristics of the road.
Unlike the Himalayan, the Scrum 411 gets a smaller 19-inch wheel at the front and the ground clearance has been reduced to 200 mm as compared to the 220 mm of the ADV.
Overall, the Scrum 411 has a more road-focused look. It doesn’t get a tall windscreen and a wraparound guard upfront. Instead, it sports a headlamp cowl, a single-piece stepped seat, and a redesigned grab handle.
The Scrum 411 is tossed with a 41mm fork upfront with 190mm of travel and a monoshock at the rear. The seat height is 795 mm less than the Himalayan and it is also lighter at 185 kg. Braking equipment includes a 300 mm disc up front and a 240 mm rear disc and a dual-channel ABS.
It is available in seven color options – White Flame, Silver Spirit, Blazing Black, Graphite Red, Graphite Blue and Graphite Yellow.
