Mitchell Marsh, who was adjudged man of the match for his all-round heroism for Delhi Capitals in an 8-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals, said he has found his hitting form and has procedures in place.
Mitchell Marsh looked rusty when he played for DC in his first match of the season, but has been getting better since his return from the Covid-19 bout.
Mitchell Marsh took 2 for 25 and smashed 89 off 62 balls to register a crucial win for DC, who are in a strong race for a playoff spot. DC now have 12 points from 12 matches this season.
Marsh said it was a physically tough game for him but added that his strategy was very clear with ball and bat.
Marsh told Star Sports, “It was a physically tough game when you have to bat and bowl. It was difficult to score a cutter in the wicket but we knew a good partnership was enough.”
“The first 4-5 overs were as tough as I have played in T20s. There was swing, seam and bounce and it reminded me of the Perth stadium.
“It wasn’t a 200 strike rate wicket, we had to score an innings. Davy was awesome. I’ve got him back to hit, I’ve got my procedures in place,” Marsh said.
