railway recruitment bords (RRB), has recently released the city slip for RRB NTPC CBT 2 2022 exam on the official website – rrbcdg.gov.in. It is likely that the board will also release the admit card soon. According to media reports, the admit card is likely to be released on May 5.

The board has announced to conduct the Phase 2 exam for RRB NTPC on 9th May and 10th May. This exam will be for jobs at level 4 and 6. The exam schedule for pay level 2, 3 and 5 will be announced later, RRB said in an official notice. Only shortlisted candidates in CBT 1 will be allowed to appear for CBT 2. CBT 1 was held from 28 December to 31 July 2021. The result of CBT-1 was published on the official websites of RRBs between March 30. Till 1st April 2022.

Regional Rural Banks Recently, on 26th April, activated the link to check the exam city center for the upcoming RRB NTPC CBT 2 2022 exam. However, soon after the release of the city center list, the applicants’ scores Complained that they have been allotted exam city for CBT 2 outside their home state.

The applicants said that this would make it difficult for many of them to take their exams. Others also claimed that their allotted centers are far away from their home state, so many may lose the opportunity to appear for their exams.

Several such aggrieved candidates have urged the examination authorities to look into the matter and change the examination center for the students on various social media platforms including Twitter. It is observed that the applicants who applied for the exam from Kolkata region have been allotted the exam city for CBT 2 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Other candidates who belong to Bengaluru, Karnataka region have complained that they have been allotted CBT 2 exam center in Amaravati, Maharashtra.

RRB NTPC CBT 2: Exam Pattern

RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam will be of 90 minutes duration in which candidates will have to solve 120 questions including 50 from General Awareness, 35 from Mathematics and 35 questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning section. The exam duration for eligible PWBD candidates with one writer will be 120 minutes. The questions will be of objective type with multiple choice options and each question will be of one mark.

RRB NTPC CBT 2: Passing Marks

To qualify the exam, candidates need a minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories. For unreserved category, candidates need to obtain at least 40 percentile, EWS candidates need 40 percentile, OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates need at least 30 percentile, SC candidates need to secure 40 percentile. Also, the minimum marks required is 30 percent and for ST candidates, 25 percent is required. These percentages of marks may be relaxed by 2 per cent for eligibility in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for PwBD candidates.
