“RSS Fascist…Modeled On The Lines Of Muslim Brotherhood”: Rahul Gandhi Attacks Sangh In UK

New Delhi: In a discussion at London’s Chatham House, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on a visit to the UK called the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) a ‘secret society’ designed to subvert democratic processes.

“RSS is a secret society. It is modeled on the lines of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the idea is to use democratic competition to come to power and then eliminate democratic competition later,” Rahul said on Monday evening.

“It amazes me how successful they have been in capturing various institutions of our country. Press, judiciary, parliament, election commission – all institutions are under pressure, under threat.

Discussions at Chatham House, a London-based policy think tank, are usually protected by ‘Chatham House Rules’, which means that its contents are kept within the House and anything anyone says outside cannot be published. cannot be held responsible. However, an exception was made for this discussion and it was live-streamed.

Rahul also interacted with Members of Parliament, academicians, journalists and community leaders at the UK Parliament. He shared a picture of a lunch conversation with David Lammy, the Labor Party’s shadow foreign secretary.

During the discussion at Chatham House, the Congress leader said that Indian institutions were allegedly being broken by the RSS-BJP, so he took out the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

“When I entered politics in 2004, the democratic contest in India used to be between political parties. I never thought at that time that the format of the competition would change completely. The reason it has changed is because an organization called the RSS – the fundamentalist, fascist organization – has basically taken over all the institutions of India,” he said.

After criticizing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for “insulting” India on foreign soil by talking about Chinese incursions, Rahul criticized Pakistan for “fostering terrorism in India”.

“My personal view is that we should have good relations with all the people around us. But it also depends on the actions of Pakistanis. If Pakistanis are promoting terrorism in India then it becomes very difficult. And so Happens,” he said at Chatham House.

He also talked about the Congress presidential elections in which Mallikarjun Kharge was elected as the president, describing him as an able and dynamic person.

“Mr. Kharge was elected as the President in the elections held in the Congress Party. We are all working together to fight the BJP, and I have full faith in Mr. Kharge’s abilities and his expertise. He has been He has been a Congress worker since. He has come up the ranks. He is a very capable and dynamic person.
