RSS leader murdered in Kerala’s Palakkad, a day after SDPI worker was killed

An RSS worker was murdered on Saturday, 16 April in Palakkad, Kerala. SDPI worker Subair was murdered in Palakkad a day after RSS worker Srinivas was murdered.

A Rashtriya Swayamsevak (RSS) worker was murdered in broad daylight on Saturday, April 16, following the murder of a Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) worker in Kerala’s Palakkad. The incident reportedly happened in retaliation for the murder on Friday.

Srinivasan, a former physical education instructor of the RSS, was murdered by a group of assailants riding three bikes. They killed him inside his shop. Despite taking him to the hospital, he died on the way.

BJP state leader Krishnakumar alleged that SDPI was behind the attack. He said the killing of SDPI worker Subair was not confirmed by the police as a political murder, and yet, the SDPI was making violent calls. He alleged that this led to the murder.

Meanwhile, MLA Shafi Parambil said that these two groups were not responsible for trying to disturb the peace in Palakkad. He alleged that a concentrated effort was being made to incite violence in the area.

SDPI worker hacked

The murder of an RSS worker took place a day after the Social Democratic Party of India (Social Democratic Party)SDPI worker killed, The victim was also the area secretary of Subair Popular Front.

He was allegedly murdered by five people in Kerala’s Palakkad district on Friday, April 15.

The SDPI worker was returning from a mosque at around 1.30 am when a car rammed his vehicle from behind. The passengers got down from the car and allegedly stabbed her to death.

SDPI alleged that the RSS was behind the attack. However, BJP Palakkad district president KM Haridas said in a press release that “neither the party nor any worker was involved in the incident.”
