Ryan Gosling will soon be getting into action mode with Netflix’s The Gray Man, directed by Marvel alums Joe and Anthony Russo (known as the Russo Brothers), the film’s globe-trotting spy thriller with some incredible action sequences. Is. The actor plays CIA operative Court Gentry aka Six, while the film also stars Dhanush as Avik San, a powerful assassin. A glimpse of an action sequence from the film shows the Indian actor giving a tough fight to Gosling and Ana de Armas at the same time.

Talking about working with the Indian star, the La La Land actor says that Dhanush impressed him during the filming of the action thriller. “Dhanush has an incredible screen presence and is an amazing actor. He is a lovely person to be around and that made it hard for me not to like him. He is really charming and I have a lot of respect for his work ethic. Every bit of the choreography was so precise, precise and she never really made a mistake. I hope I can work with him again where we’re not trying to kill each other (laughs) and hopefully in an Indian film,” Gosling said during a roundtable interview.

Gosling says that he has been fascinated by Indian cinema and that starring in an Indian film is on his to-do list, “India has such a rich film history and the Indian film industry is simply incredible. I love to experience it and feel it.” Would love to be a part. I am not kidding but if there is any filmmaker who wants to make a film with me, please get in touch. Working in an Indian film is definitely a big deal in my career and I hope I hope I will be able to do that. Maybe the Russo brothers can make a film in Indian language with me and Dhanush (laughs).”

While an action film typically consists of four to five action pieces, The Gray Man has nine action sequences that the actor felt was really challenging. “Gets tired. The film was physically and mentally challenging and I didn’t know what I was doing,” he says, adding, “There is a scene in the film where I climb on top of a running train and as I would be running, train cars are chasing me and I have to keep jumping and thus the whole film felt like I had to jump from one action sequence to another and I could barely survive (laughs). But It was exciting to work in this film because I have grown up watching such films and it is something that I have always wanted to make.”
