Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid’s home in Nainital was allegedly vandalized in his new book on a comparison between Hindutva and ISIS. In his book ‘Sunrise Over Ayodhya: Nationhood in Our Times’, Khurshid compared the “stronger version” of Hindutva to the jihadi Islam of terrorist groups such as ISIS and Boko Haram. The Congress leader shared videos of the incident on his Facebook and Twitter handles, with the senior Congress leader writing: “I hope to open these doors to my friends who have given up on this calling card. Am I still wrong to say that? Am that it can’t be Hinduism?”
