A grand jury has convicted a person who Knife to Salman Rushdie The acclaimed author is set to deliver a speech in western New York, county prosecutors said Thursday.

Chautauqua County District Attorney Jason Schmidt called the attack “premeditated.”

Henry Reese, 73, co-founder of the City of Pittsburgh Asylum, was on stage with Mr. Rushdie and suffered bruises, bruises and other minor injuries to his forehead.
