One major change between the two is the software. The Galaxy Fold 3 was launched with Android 11 and later received the OneUI 4.1 (Android 12) update. The cameras have been a major weakness of the Galaxy Z Fold, but things are changing with the latest iteration.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with 12MP triple camera setup. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 sports a triple camera setup, but the main camera has been upgraded to a 50MP sensor, the same sensor found on the Galaxy S22 and S22+. However, the ultrawide sensor remains the same at 12MP. The telephoto sensor is now a 10MP sensor with 3x optical zoom.
Both the foldables have a 4MP sensor under the display. But, Samsung says that the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s front camera should provide better image quality. The external camera also remains the same at 10MP.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 vs Galaxy Fold3: Price in India
Samsung hasn’t announced pricing details in India. However, the Galaxy Fold 4 comes with a starting price of $1,799 (roughly Rs. 1,42,325) in the US, which is the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Hence, we expect the price to remain unchanged, which means that the Galaxy Fold 4 could start at Rs 1,49,999 in India.
