samsung Galaxy expected to be launched Z Fold 4, the successor to its Galaxy Z Fold 3 due out later this year. A new report suggests that the company is planning to give its upcoming foldable a bigger update than the previous generations.
GalaxyClub has reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone may feature an updated hinge and a major camera update.
Reports suggest that Samsung may borrow a sensor from the Galaxy S22 lineup and introduce it in the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Till date, Samsung Galaxy Foldables are taking a back seat in the camera department by offering just 12MP sensor or 16MP sensor.
While we would love to see a new 50MP sensor from the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ smartphone or a 108MP sensor from the Galaxy S22 Ultra. But, the report claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is likely to feature a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
Apart from this, Samsung is also expected to upgrade the hinge mechanism of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, according to @TheGalox. Reports suggest that the company is planning to move away from the dual-hinged design in the Fold 4.
The report claims that this will help the company reduce the price of the foldable and also reduce the weight and thickness as compared to the existing models.
