Falguni Shane Peacock unveiled ‘Love Forever’ at India Couture Week 2022, a collection that draws inspiration from her recent trip to London, where designers were honored with the prestigious Shiromani Award for their work and global contribution to the fashion landscape went.

The collection tells a story of designs that draw inspiration from Art Nouveau and the horrors of French architecture where elements are married to Indian architectural aspects such as minarets, arches and domes. It celebrates the land that is home to myriad artifacts and some of the most famous masters in the history of modern art and design – Chagall, Picasso, Braque, Le Corbusier.

The collection displays elaborate motifs that showcase the best of Indo-Parisian culture and architecture. From inscribing the myriad structures of architectural gems on the ensemble to painting them with sophisticated stones and pearls, the collection captures the essence of French tapestry in a traditional Indian dress. The chrome applique technique replicated the structural wonders and elements of both cultures on the fabric.
