If rumors are to be believed, the Apple iPhone 14 series is expected to get satellite connectivity, a feature that could revolutionize the connectivity required during emergencies. Normally, we connect through cellular networks provided by telecom operators but we often face a situation when there is no connectivity and we have to make an urgent call to it or leave a message.
Satellite connectivity is going to overcome that challenge but we are still not sure about the law and legislation on its use. Satellite connectivity may depend from region to region.
According to Bloomberg writer Mark Gurman, this satellite connectivity feature can be found in the iPhone 14 series. This will help in connecting people in areas with no connectivity.
This feature was also speculated to iphone 13 series but that didn’t happen and now Gurman expects the feature to be available in Apple’s next flagship range. Gurman writes that the iPhone 14 will come with an “emergency message via contacts” option, which will let users share a short message when no cellular service is available.
Apple The iPhone 14 series is expected to arrive in September as the iPhone 13 series was also launched in the same month in 2021. There are a lot of expectations from the iPhone 14 series.
It is being speculated that the iPhone 14 series may skip the Mini model and add a new Pro model in the place. As well as the original iPhone 14, there will be the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the expected iPhone 14 Max.
The A16 Bionic chipset will be available in the iPhone 14 series. We also expect Apple to change the camera resolution as well. Several changes are anticipated such as a 48MP main lens supported by an ultra-wide lens and a portrait lens. The selfie lens in the iPhone 14 series can also change from the standard 12MP.
As for the display, we also expect Apple to use a punch hole display with 120Hz refresh rate as standard across all variants and replace the notch display instead. The battery is likely to remain under wraps but we feel better durable life than this.
