“Save Andhra From Destructive Rule Of YSR Congress”: Chandrababu Naidu

Shri Naidu said that he is writing this open letter to bring the facts to the notice of the public.

Amaravati:

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu called on the people of Andhra Pradesh to “save” the state from the alleged destructive and tyrannical rule of the YSRCP, a charge denied by ruling party advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Thursday.

Referring to the recent Gannavaram clash, the former chief minister claimed that the ruling party was resorting to violent activities, false cases and unsavory attacks on leaders of opposition parties to question these “democratic tendencies”.

In an open letter to the people of the state, Mr Naidu alleged, “Atrocities of the ruling YSRCP are increasing by the day and the dictatorial attitude of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is a big blow to democracy.”

“TDP leaders were subjected to severe torture in Gannavaram and their properties completely destroyed. The affected TDP leaders were projected as prime accused and sent to jail,” he claimed in the letter on Wednesday.

Shri Naidu said that he is writing this open letter to bring the facts to the notice of the public.

The TDP supremo hit out at Mr Reddy, saying he was ignoring the Constitution made by BR Ambedkar, but was building a statue in his honour.

Meanwhile, Ramakrishna Reddy today hit back at TDP alleging that it is a top to bottom gang of desperate people who make allegations without any proof.

“They know nothing but selfishness. They cheat and extort in the form of bribes or other people of criminal tendency. They think that power (political) is their birthright. Lost all ambitions set by NT Rama Rao.” Ramakrishna Reddy said.

Krishna district Superintendent of Police (SP) P Joshua on Wednesday said nine people have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing the Telugu Desam Party’s Gannavaram office.

On Monday, the TDP office in Gannavaram was vandalized allegedly by YSRCP workers and supporters of local MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
