SBI YONO ITR Filing: Customers of the country’s top lender State Bank of India (SBI) should be aware of the fact that they can save more by availing 80D deduction without paying the health insurance premium of the parents. “Save more! Section 80D
Section 80D of the Income Act provides for enhanced deduction ₹50,000 if either of the parents of the assessee is a senior citizen. A resident of the age of 60 years or more in India at any time during the relevant previous year is treated as a senior citizen.
