SC expresses displeasure over calling judge a ‘terrorist’, issues notice giving reason for the sentence

The Supreme Court on Friday ordered a high court judge to issue a notice to the Registry stating the reasons for the tremors and the registry by what a doctor says. A bench of CJI DY Chandrachud and Justice Hima Kohli said, “You will be jailed for a few months, then you will be exposed”, claiming the corruption won by the plaintiff to be a ‘disgrace’. Said, “You cannot just accuse a judge of the Supreme Court.”

The counsel appearing for the petitioner said that he would represent him only if he asked for a joke. The person said, “I ask for a joke. “We will issue you a show cause notice as to why you should not be proceeded against for criminal contempt,” the court said. ‘We are not an instance of premature hearing of the application. The application can be understood.

The bench, in its order, said it gives the person a whopping three weeks to foot an affidavit to explain his conduct.
