Ministry of Education has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Director in School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. The appointment will be made on contract basis for five years. Candidates can apply online at recruitmentpofal.mnit.ac.in till May 31 midnight.

Age Range: The upper age limit to apply for the recruitment is 65 years.
educational qualification: To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must have a master’s or equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of architecture and planning. In addition, a PhD degree in the appropriate branches or work published in referenced journals equivalent to a PhD is also required. The applicant must be a reputed person in the field of architecture to be considered for the post.
experience: In addition to the required educational qualification, the applicant must also have at least 15 years of experience in teaching, industry, research, out of which 5 years should be at the level of Professor or above in Architecture and Planning. Administrative experience in a responsible position is desired.
Applications from industry and profession with relevant educational qualification may also apply, provided they have at least 15 years of experience, out of which 5 years should be at senior level than that of a professor. If they do not have a PhD degree, they must have professional work that is significant and can be considered equivalent to a PhD degree.
Officers holding Government or Public Enterprises equivalent to the post of Joint Secretary to the Government of India or with 5 years experience in Management of Technical Education System on regular basis can also apply. The application is also open to the officers of Research Institute of Universities of the Registrar of Central Universities or Academic Organizations of equivalent rank with at least 10 years of regular service.
