Second body recovered from Percy Priest Lake this week – Henry Club

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – First responders have recovered a body at Percy Priest Lake, a fire department spokesman confirmed Friday.

The Nashville Fire Department received a call that a body had been found in Percy Priest Lake just after 8 p.m. Friday. The body was recovered by first responders and brought back to shore.

Metro Police said the body of 49-year-old Peter Sisilsky, who is believed to have been accidentally drowned last weekend. His kayak was found near Four Corners Marina on Sunday morning.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is investigating the death.

Peter’s family issued this statement on Saturday regarding the discovery of his body:

“The Barzewski and the Cizelsky family are deeply saddened by the loss of Peter Ciezelski. Peter’s two children and the family mourn the loss of a dear relative.
