One unidentified terrorist killed in Kulgam’s Mishipora; IED weighing 15 kg recovered in Pulwama
An unidentified terrorist was killed in Kulgam’s Mishipora when security forces engaged in an encounter with two different groups of terrorists hiding in Anantnag and Kulgam districts of South Kashmir respectively.
Police said that the search operation is going on in Mishipora in Kulgam since Tuesday. Apparently the terrorists hiding in the dense gardens are engaged with the security forces. Police said, “Operation is on.”
In south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, police said they have established contact with terrorists hiding in Hangalgund in Kokernag area. “An encounter has started. Police and security forces are on the job,” the police said.
Meanwhile, police said, security forces had averted a major tragedy by recovering an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing 15 kg planted by terrorists in Armullah village of Litter area of Pulwama. “Two terrorist associates involved in this terror crime have been arrested,” the police said.
