Police on Sunday claimed that a “major” terror incident has been averted by destroying an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) recovered in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Security forces recovered an IED weighing around 10-12 kg from Behgund area of Tral in South Kashmir district.
“On a specific input from the police, an IED, around 10-12 kg, has been recovered in Behgund area of #Tral. The police and the army are engaged in the work of destroying it as it is. A major #terror incident averted,” Kashmir Zone Police said on Twitter.
