They say that mankind always finds a way to survive. The living proof of this is the inhabitants of the desserts who survive the scorching heat or the people of arctic regions who have survived in sub-zero temperatures, or the forest dwellers in one of the most remote parts of the world. Sitting in our office chairs, while the AC is fully on and our microwave notifies us that our food is ready, it seems almost impossible to survive in the above areas, doesn’t it? But, people do, and they do so with appreciative spirits! We recently came across one such video of a Russian man who has rocked the internet with a simple cooking video from his region.

The video was uploaded by @earthpix page. Originally, the video belongs to @pandaskha_official, a content creator from Sakha, Yakutia. Yakutia is a republic of Russia located in the Russian Far East along the Arctic Ocean. Yakutia can be considered the coldest place on Earth, where the temperature drops to -50 in the winter months. The climate of the region is such that it breeds with meat and fish and is frozen naturally without any external force. In the video, a Russian man can be seen making stew just outside his house. He uses a block of ice to water and toss in whole frozen vegetables in the stew. The cooking process is just as mesmerizing as the dish. Check it out here:

The video has garnered over 29 million views and 1.6 million likes. Comments left on the video have praised the efforts of the person living in that situation and others.
