The three women belong to a close circle of friends and attended the filmmaker’s dinner Karan Johar’s Mumbai home last week on 8 December. According to Mumbai civic body Brihanmumbai Corporation or BMC, Seema Khan was the first of the group to be infected with COVID, reports ANI. According to the BMC, Seema has minor symptoms, and she tested positive on December 11; Kareena and Amrita had themselves tested on the same day, reports ANI.

Kareena Kapoor’s Mumbai residence has been sealed by BMC after she tested positive and the area has been sanitised. Kareena on Monday announced her positive result on social media and said that she is following the isolation protocol. The actress, who has been fully vaccinated, wrote in an Instagram story: “I have tested positive for COVID. I self-isolated immediately following all medical protocols. I request anyone Anyone who has come in contact with me please get tested.” My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling fine and hopefully I will be fine soon.”

Malaika Arora’s sister Amrita Arora also announced on Monday evening that she had contracted COVID. “I have tested positive for COVID. I am following all medical guidelines and BMC’s rules. Anyone who has been in contact with me, please get tested. My family and staff have been fully vaccinated and Everyone tested negative. Stay safe, say responsible,” wrote Amrita Arora in an Instagram story.

The BMC is tracking and testing others who were at Karan Johar’s dinner or were in contact with him last week, reports ANI. Some 15 close contacts have already been traced and they have been asked to undergo RT-PCR test. Alia Bhatt, Kareena’s sister Karisma Kapoor, Amrita’s sister Malaika Arora and her boyfriends Arjun Kapoor and Seema were among the guests photographed for dinner at Karan Johar’s house. splendid life of bollywood wives co-starring Maheep Kapoor.
