‘Selfless gift of life’: Man puts sticker on car to thank daughter’s kidney donor

A father’s noble gesture for his daughter’s kidney donor

The world could certainly use a little more kindness. It’s so easy to get caught up in one’s worries that someone else could be of little help to. Thankfully, there are Good Samaritans all around us, who make the world a little better with their selfless deeds. From time to time, inspiring videos of people helping those in need remind us of the bright spots in humanity. One such picture is going viral on social media, in which a father is showing altruistic gesture for his daughter’s kidney donor.

The image, shared by Twitter user @DudespostingWs, shows a sticker on the back of a car that reads, “Beti ko kidney mil gayi”, with the word “need” crossed out. It is believed that the man had put the sticker while he was looking for a kidney donor for his daughter. However, when someone donated a kidney, he expressed his gratitude and updated the sticker. He wrote, “Daughter got a kidney. Thank you, Willie! For your selfless gift of life.”

The comments section was filled with gratitude for Mr Wiley, with many saying that acts like this restore their faith in humanity. Many people said that there is no greater act of compassion than donating one’s organ to someone.

A user commented, “Watch it here. This is pure love.” Another user wrote, “First time I’ve ever seen a tailgate covered with words and it’s not racist and/or some sort of religious slur.” A third said, Yo why am I crying? It is very difficult to make such a decision for someone whom you do not know.

Speaking of random acts of kindness, a man, last month, recalculated on linkedin How was he surprised when one day he received money from a stranger. In a post, a user named Kamal Singh said that he received Rs 201 from a random person on PhonePe. When she opened the conversation, she found that she had transferred money to the person about 1.5 years ago as a little help after reading his fundraising appeal on some social media sites.
