Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national joint secretary Gopal Italia was arrested by the Surat Crime Branch on April 17 for his alleged remarks on Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Shanghvi. Later he got bail.
“Since the offenses in the FIR were bailable, the crime branch let me go. AAP had shown its strength in the last elections in Gujarat, considered a stronghold of the BJP. That’s why they are scared..,” Mr. Italia was quoted as saying by the news agency ANI,
