Servo Pride XL Plus Tigers team won the 3rd edition of the Servo Mechanics Cup cricket tournament in Madurai.
3rd edition of Servo Mechanics Cup Cricket Tournament sponsored and conducted by Servo of Indian Oil Corporation Limited Hindu The group ended with the Servo Pride XL Plus Tigers team emerging champions in Madurai.
Servo Pride XL Plus Tigers won the final by 10 wickets comfortably against Servo Raftaar Rockers to win the final of the Madurai edition. Batting first under floodlights in the final of the eighth over, Servo Speed Rockers scored 51 runs in the allotted overs. Servo Pride XL Plus Tigers team successfully chased down the target in 5 overs without losing a wicket.
Servo Mechanics Cup was organized for two wheeler, four wheeler and heavy vehicle mechanics of southern districts. Around 170 players were selected to play in the league matches and were divided into 12 teams, each with an Indian Oil coordinator. League matches and finals were held at the Solaimaalai Institutions campus in Madurai.
DGM (Institutional Lube Sales), IOCL, Tamil Nadu State Office K. Jayakumar was the chief guest and Divisional Retail Sales Head, IOCL, Madurai Divisional Office S. Mahesh was the guest of honour. He distributed prizes worth ₹ 1.65 lakh. Mr. Jayakumar said that the quality of players and the tournament is getting better every year.
