Thrissur, Kerala:
Several people were injured in an accident when the driver of a private bus overturned after the driver lost control at Kondzhi in central Kerala district on Friday.
Police said the bus was carrying several passengers, including women and school and college students, when the accident occurred, but none of them suffered serious injuries.
A police officer said, “Some passengers have suffered fractures and some others have head injuries. Over 20 people are undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College.”
The accident took place when the bus driver gave way to another vehicle to pass through the narrow road.
Police said the local people and the police soon shifted the injured to nearby hospitals and the condition of all is stable.
