To celebrate Valentine’s Week, the evergreen romance film has been re-released in theaters for a whole week. The film comes at a time when the highest-grossing Hindi film Pathan is already in theatres. While both are their blockbuster films, Shah Rukh has now reacted to their screening together.

On Sunday, Yash Raj Films took to its official Twitter handle and wrote that DDLJ and Pathan, two blockbuster films from different eras are currently running in theatres. The tweet read: “Blockbusters of 2 eras – #DDLJ and #Pathan have arrived! This Valentine’s Week, watch the grandeur in cinemas near you!”

King Khan replied to this by saying, “Hey man it’s so hard to become an action hero…and you guys are bringing back Raj…ufff! This competition is killing me!!!! I #pathan… I am going to see the secret of the house. Is.”

Meanwhile, speaking of Pathan, the Shah Rukh Khan actioner is showing no signs of slowing down at the ticket windows even two weeks after its release. Pathan opened with a bang and collected over Rs 300 crore in the first week. It recently crossed the Rs 800 crore mark globally and is still running strong at the box office. Now its collections are increasing rapidly. Despite the reduction in ticket prices across national multiplex chains, fans are flocking to watch the film in large numbers. Pathan has also become the highest-grossing film in Hindi worldwide and is now all set to enter the Rs 500 crore club at the domestic box office.
