Even though no one has said anything about the campaign, the latest viral images are at least an unofficial confirmation of Shah Rukh’s first collaboration with Atlee.
In the pictures, Shah Rukh can be seen posing in a black suit with Pune Metro employees. Also, he has been seen wearing sunglasses and face mask. The images are being widely circulated on the actor’s fan pages. After being photographed, he was seen signing autographs.
Atlee was questioned about working with Shah Rukh in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Twitter in October 2019. The director said that he has a lot of admiration and respect for Shah Rukh. He further added that Shah Rukh loves his work and would like to work with the actor.
Within weeks, Atlee’s wife, Priya Mohan, tweeted a picture of the couple standing with Shah Rukh, fueling rumors that the two were working together. Nayanthara was also said to be in the flick. Now the pictures are unofficially confirming the rumours.
On Saturday, pictures of SRK and Nayanthara also went viral on the internet, pointing towards their latest collaboration. If sources are to be believed, the filmmaker has made a grand casting coup with the film, which also stars Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Rana Daggubati.
SRK has been on a break since 2018, but now he is all set to return with not only Atlee’s next, but three legends. Rajkumar Hirani’s sequel and Siddharth Anand’s Pathan are also included in the list of megastars.
While work on Hirani’s second film is underway, Shah Rukh has already filmed for Pathan’s lead roles. He, Deepika Padukone and the rest of the cast will be traveling to Europe to film a schedule abroad for the film directed by Siddharth Anand.
