Sanah Kapoor, daughter of veteran actors Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak, tied the knot with Mayank, son of Manoj Pahwa-Seema Pahwa, in Mahabaleshwar on Wednesday (March 02). Taking to his Instagram handle, Shahid KapoorThe younger sister of Sana shared the first pictures of her wedding. Their families joined the couple on the occasion and several pictures from the pre-wedding festivities also surfaced on social media. Dressed in traditional attire with pink floral decorations in the background, the newlyweds looked adorable.
On the wedding day, Sana wore a color coordinated lehenga choli. Her choli was of red color while the lehenga and veil of the bride were of light blue colour. On the other hand, Mayank wore a black Indo-Western. One of the pictures shows the couple looking at each other, while the other shows them standing under a gazebo as Mayank bows down to kiss Sanah. Many friends and fans of the couple congratulated both. Vikrant Massey wrote, “Congratulations to you both. Wishing you years of love, laughter and happiness.” The bride’s sister-in-law Mira Rajput also showered love on the couple and wrote, “Congratulations,” adding several red heart emojis. Ishaan Khatter commented, “Congratulations Sanah.”
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram to share a picture with his newly wedded sister. Along with the happy picture, she wrote, “How time flies and is now a bride. All too soon grown up, my baby girl… an emotional start to an amazing new chapter. Sweetest @sanahkapur15 Sunshine to you and Mayank Wishing you more good vibes. Always…”
Mira Rajput also posted a few pictures congratulating the couple. He wrote, “There was magic in the garden of love. Congratulations, Sana and Mayank… Congratulations on bringing your deep love to life today, every day.”
For the wedding ceremony, Shahid wore a black Indo-Western teamed with a white churidar and Nehru jacket, Mira in a textured white saree was a sight to behold. She completed the look with beautiful earrings.
