Country’s strong socialist leader and former Central Sharad Yadav passed away at the age of 75 on Thursday evening. He was ailing for some time and was admitted to Fortis Hospital for investigation.

Sharad Yadav was born on 1 July 1947 in Akhmau village of Hoshangabad district, Madhya Pradesh. He may have been born in Madhya Pradesh but as a politician he was more associated with the politics of Bihar.

In the year 2018, he formed his own party Loktantri Janata Dal but after two years it merged with Lalu Yadav’s National Janata Dal.
