Shark attacks beach near Florida teen, brother pulls it out of his jaw

A 9 foot long shark suddenly attacked and bit his right thigh.

A teenager has lost a part of his leg in a shark attack on a popular beach New York Post, Citing local officials, the outlet said the girl was swimming off the coast of Florida when the attack took place.

“By the grace of God, she was accompanied by her brother, Rhett Willingham, a first responder/firefighter who acted swiftly to literally fight and drive the shark away and into an unknown man’s nearby boat (thanks whoever) You are too),” said Mr. Bethea.

Mr Willingham applied a tourniquet to her leg to reduce the loss of blood and kept her awake, ultimately saving her life. The teenager was taken to a hospital in Tallahassee, about 80 miles from the beach, for emergency surgery.
