However, Thackeray marked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as his main target, dismissing Shinde as someone who only “reads the script of the BJP”.
Meanwhile, CM Shinde almost validated the former CM’s statements when he said that he is proud to be “of Modi-Shah”. haste(Hand of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah) and said that Thackeray should not take them lightly.

In an indirectly describing Shinde as a puppet of the BJP, Thackeray said the Shinde government was about to complete 100 days in power, but 90 of them would have been spent during the chief minister’s stay in Delhi.
Thackeray said, “I want to challenge him (Shinde), let’s hold a rally where you speak without reading the script of the BJP… When I was the CM, there used to be around five or six press conferences, but the deputy CM Ajit Pawar never spoke in my ear,” Thackeray said. The Shiv Sena Dussehra rally has been an annual tradition in which the Shiv Sena chief is known to deliver a roaring speech, cursing rivals and setting the political tone for the party’s cadre in the near term.
However, for the first time since the Shiv Sena was founded in 1966, the party held two Dussehra rallies – at Shinde’s BKC and at Thackeray’s own traditional venue, Shivaji Park.
In June this year, Shinde had led a rebellion of Shiv Sena legislators, leading to the fall of the Thackeray-led MVA.
Claiming to be the “real” Shiv Sena, Shinde joined hands with the BJP to form the state government. Thackeray-led Shiv Sena has been blaming the BJP provoked Revolt to eliminate Shiv Sena.
During his speech, Thackeray quoted BJP President JP Nadda as saying that there will be no other party.

Meanwhile, Shinde, referring to himself as a Rickshawwala, Turning his rebellion into a class issue, Thackeray was accused of allegedly running the Shiv Sena like a “private limited company” and claiming himself to be an ordinary Shiv Sainik who owns Bal Thackeray’s legacy.

‘Real’ Hindutva
When Shinde led his infamous rebellion, he cited the exit from the MVA government as a reason to weaken the core Hindutva agenda of the Shiv Sena led by Uddhav and Aaditya Thackeray.
While Shinde continued to attack Thackeray’s alleged Hindutva, Uddhav clearly marked the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as his competitors, rather than the faction led by Shinde.

Thackeray insisted that his Hindutva is not Brahminical and based on the ideology of Bal Thackeray.
