Selena Gomez has decided to quit social media following the speculative eyebrow drama involving Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber. In a live video, the Lose You To Love Me songstress expressed that she is happy and blessed to have some of the best friends and best fans in the world. The musician himself claimed to love the way. With things blown out of proportion, Gomez calls the whole fiasco silly and decides to take the high road and walk away from it all. “I’m so happy, I’m so blessed, I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I couldn’t be happier,” she said in the video.
Selena Gomez continued, “I’m good. I love the way I am. I don’t care, I’m older, I’m not, I don’t care. I love who I am. And yes, I Gonna take some time off social media cause it’s a little silly. And I’m 30 I’m too old for that but I love you guys so much! And I’ll see you guys soon I just Gonna take a break from everything.” Moments after finishing the live video, Selena immediately deleted her TikTok, however, her Instagram profile remains intact.

It all started when Gomez shared a hilarious clip of herself on TikTok on Feb. 22, revealing she accidentally laminated her eyebrows too much. This is generally accepted. But what made headlines later was beauty mogul Kylie Jenner’s subsequent social media update. The mother of two posted a photo of herself with the caption, “Was it an accident?” It is written in bold letters above your eyebrows.
Selena fans believe that the placement of the text was intentionally done to cast a shadow over Selena Gomez’s TikTok videos. Jenner made it even worse with a screenshot of her FaceTime with Hailey Bieber. The BFFs kept their cameras close to show off their perfectly arched brows on social media. The updates were enough for fans to accuse Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber of bullying Gomez.
But Kylie quickly shut down the drama by leaving a comment on a TikTok video about the alleged insult. “It’s reaching out,” wrote the Kylie Cosmetics founder. “No shadow on Selena and I didn’t see her eyebrows post! You guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly,” said Kylie, clearing the air.
Selena Gomez also supported Jenner, saying, “Agree with Kylie Jenner. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a Kylie fan.”
Selena Gomez has had to endure her highly publicized breakup with Justin Bieber, with whom she was in an on-off relationship for nearly a decade.
