Actress and reality TV actress Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santok Singh Sukh recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The move was taken just before the state assembly elections in 2022. The news comes that Santok Singh was shot dead in Amritsar after two men on a bike opened fire on him last Saturday at around 8.30 pm. The incident took place when Santok Singh was returning from programs in the city.

SS Rajamouli’s much awaited film RRR finally fixed the release date after a long wait and it is all set to hit the theaters on January 7, 2022. However, with Omicron cases rising in India, reports suggest that the release of Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer may get postponed. A report in Telugu Bulletin suggests that the distributors of the Hindi version of RRR have apparently asked the makers to reschedule the release date as theaters in Maharashtra are running at half capacity.
