Faraz Ashraf, a Kashmiri journalist, has reportedly said that his life is in danger as the makers of ‘Shershaah’ have used the license plate of his car and depicted it as a vehicle operated by terrorists. He shared pictures of his car and the same number plate used in the film and claimed that it was a threat to him and his family.

“It is a danger to me and my family. I can’t travel in the car as now I am feeling safety concerns due to this move. I have not allowed any production house to use the registration number. of my car I have now decided to fight against @DharmaMovies @DharmaTwoPointO for stopping the telecast of the film across the country. As they called my car regd no. and used in film. I am registering a case against the production house,” the journalist shared on Twitter. ‘Shershah’ is directed by Vishnuvardhan and supported by Karan JoharDharma Productions. The story of the bravery of Captain Vikram Batra PVC is narrated in the film.

Kiara Advani, who plays Vikram Batra’s love Dimple Cheema in the war drama, had revealed that she met Dimple before starting the film. Talking about their meeting, Kiara had shared, “She gave me an insight into my mind and my heart, which helped me express myself better on screen. It was Vishal Batra, the twin brother of Captain Vikram Batra, who helped us meet each other. I wanted to understand him closely and imitate him as close to reality as possible. We included Punjabi Dialogues because he is from Punjab. Playing the character of Dimple was a tremendous and emotional experience for me.”
