Noted Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunath, popularly known as KK, passed away in Kolkata on Tuesday night, officials said.
He was 53 years old.

He was taken to a private hospital in south Kolkata where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
“It is unfortunate that we could not treat him,” said a senior hospital official.
A versatile talent, KK has recorded songs in languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali among others.
