Six AAP leaders in UP booked for threatening and indecent language against PM Modi

On March 3, 2023, a police officer said that six local leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party have been booked for allegedly using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, making threats and burning his effigy.

He told that on the basis of the complaint of station in-charge Raj Kumar Singh, an FIR was lodged at Gadwar police station in the district.

As per the complaint, the accused used abusive language against the Prime Minister, CBI and ED, made threats and burnt effigies of PM Modi, protesting against the arrest of AAP leader Manish Sisodia at Gandhi Ashram Tirahe in Ratsad town. March 2, 2023.

The police officer said they tried to nab the leaders from the spot but they managed to escape.

Mr Singh said efforts are on to nab him.
