Six Kovid-19 passengers stopped from boarding Dubai flight at Indore airport

Six passengers, including three women, were not allowed to board the Air India Dubai-bound flight at Indore airport on Wednesday after they were found infected with the coronavirus, a health official said.

“As per the protocol, every passenger on board the weekly Indore-Dubai flight has to undergo rapid RT-PCR test at the airport. On Wednesday, 67 passengers were tested and the results of six passengers came back positive,” Dr Priyanka Kaurava said. Medical officer of Madhya Pradesh Health Department told PTI,

He said that out of the six infected passengers, two are from Bhopal and four from Indore. Kaurav said that five of the six passengers had received both doses of the anti-coronavirus vaccine, while a female passenger was given four jabs of two different vaccines. All the six passengers are asymptomatic. He was sent back to his home with advice to isolate himself.
