Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo Edition: All you need to know – Times of India

Skoda Auto India recently launched the Kushak Monte Carlo variant in India at a starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo variant sits above the top-spec styling variant and goes up to Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Since the Skoda Kushak is one of the best-selling cars in the manufacturer’s India line-up, here’s all you need to know about the Kushak Monte Carlo.
Variant-Wise Pricing
Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo Edition is available in four variants, which include 1.0 TSI MT, 1.0 TST AT, 1.5 TSI MT and 1.5 TSI DSG. The recently introduced Monte Carlo variant costs Rs 70,000 more than the top-spec style variant.

The Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo has been offered in two new color schemes, which include Candy White and Tornado Red with a black roof.
exterior upgrade

Talking about the exterior, the Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo variant gets blacked-out chrome elements on the front grille, ORVMs, front and rear skid plates, bumper inserts, wing mirrors, door handles and boot. The mid-size SUV sits on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Additionally, the 1.5 TSI Monte Carlo variant gets red brake calipers.

The new version of the Kushaq features ‘Monte Carlo’ badging on the front fenders, ‘Monte Carlo’ written on the door scuff plates as well as ‘Monte Carlo’ on the headrests.

Inside the cabin, the Kushaq Monte Carlo is equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a new 8-inch fully digital virtual cockpit, six-speaker sound system, red ambient lighting, sunroof, dual . -Tone red and black leatherette upholstery, aluminum foot pedals and ventilated front seats. Red accents can be seen on the dashboard, interior door handles, center console and door panels.

Similar to the styling variant, the Skoda Kushak Monte Carlo variant is available in two engine options – a 1.0-litre TSI engine that produces 113 hp/175 Nm and a 1.5-litre TSI engine that develops 148hp/150 Nm. The 1.0 TSI comes mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, while the 1.5 TSI is mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
