Yash Dhul took Hyderabad’s attack out of the light of day with a 36-ball 73 as Delhi registered a comprehensive 46-run win in a Group B League match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy on Tuesday.
Dhul, who was in excellent form in the tournament, hit half a dozen fours and as many sixes to give Delhi a score of 196 for 6 in 20 overs.

Ayush Badoni’s 23 off 10 balls at the time of death and Himmat Singh’s 47 off 39 in the opening also helped consolidate the score.
In reply, Hyderabad scored only 150 runs as lead batsman NT Tilak Verma (13) suffered a rare failure.
Navdeep Saini bowled at a fast pace, taking 4/17 wickets in 3.1 overs. Captain Nitish Rana opened the bowling and contributed 2/34 in his four overs.
Delhi, now with four wins from five matches, are tied with table toppers Punjab on 16 points but are second due to poor net run-rate.
In another match, 10 players were dismissed for single digits in Manipur as Punjab bowled them out for 40 in 14.1 overs. Required runs were scored in 5.3 overs for the loss of one wicket.
